How to make image transparent in inkscape?

Open the file, select the objects, go to Path and Select stroke to path. OR 2. Open the file, select the objects, press white color from color bar below, choose a black stroke and adjust to desired width, under the fill tab: slide the transparency line to remove the white fill color.
