Light and particle effect with Photoshop<\/h2>\n<\/p>\n

Welcome to this new tutorial, in it we are going to achieve a superb effect of light and particles with Photoshop on a simple image and give it a magical effect in a few steps.<\/p>\n

Here is a preview of the final rendering.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

To start the work, open the following model image in Adobe Photoshop then duplicate your layer by pressing the keys Ctrl + J <\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Then go to Menu> Image> Adjustments> Shadows \/ Highlights <\/strong><\/p>\n

\"all<\/p>\n

\"all<\/p>\n

Now take the magnetic lasso tool (L) <\/strong> and cut out the crystal object.<\/p>\n

Create a new layer (Ctrl + Shift + N<\/strong>), still with the lasso selection tool click on your selection with the right mouse button then choose outline.<\/p>\n

\"all<\/p>\n

Choose color White <\/strong>for the outline and 10px <\/strong> for the thickness <\/strong><\/p>\n

\"all<\/p>\n

\"all<\/p>\n

Then press Ctrl + D <\/strong>, and apply a Gaussian fuzzy filter <\/strong> going in Menu> Filter> Blur> Gaussian blur. <\/strong><\/p>\n

Then, go to the merge options. <\/strong><\/p>\n

\"all<\/p>\n

\"all<\/p>\n

\"all<\/p>\n

Create another layer, take the brush tool (B) <\/strong> and draw a round shape using color # 61b9b9. <\/strong><\/p>\n

\"all<\/p>\n

Then change its fusion mode <\/strong> in Dim light <\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\"all<\/p>\n

Do the exact same in another layer, then change its fusion mode <\/strong> in layering <\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\"all<\/p>\n

Now add a Curve adjustment layer by going to Menu> Layer> New adjustment layer> Curve. <\/strong><\/p>\n

\"all<\/p>\n

\"all<\/p>\n

\"all<\/p>\n

After, put on the layer mask of the adjustment layer, take the brush tool (B) <\/strong> and paint a round shape at the crystal object using color Black <\/strong>to hide the effect of the latter.<\/p>\n

Then duplicate your adjustment layer by pressing the keys Ctrl + J. <\/strong><\/p>\n

\"all<\/p>\n

Now import the following texture into your document and adjust it like this.<\/p>\n

Then go to Menu> image> Settings> Levels. <\/strong><\/p>\n

\"all<\/p>\n

\"all<\/p>\n

Next, change its blend mode to overlay. (Erase outlines if outlines appear)<\/p>\n

\"all<\/p>\n

Duplicate your texture several times by changing the rotation and size to achieve the following effect.<\/p>\n

\"all<\/p>\n

Then add an adjustment layer gradient transfer curve <\/strong> going in Menu> Layer> New Adjustment Layer> Gradient Transfer Curve. <\/strong><\/p>\n

\"all<\/p>\n

After, change its fusion mode <\/strong> in Dim light <\/strong> and reduce its opacity <\/strong>To 30%. <\/strong><\/p>\n

\"all<\/p>\n

Then add an adjustment layer Color match <\/strong> going in Menu> Layer> New Adjustment Layer> Color Match. <\/strong><\/p>\n

\"all<\/p>\n

Then reduce its opacity <\/strong>To 20%. <\/strong><\/p>\n

\"all<\/p>\n

Now import the following halo into your document and adjust it like this.<\/p>\n

Change her fusion mode <\/strong> in Overlay <\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\"all<\/p>\n

Finally, add a Color Balance adjustment layer by going to Menu> Layer> New Adjustment Layer> Color Balance <\/strong> and adjust mid and dark tones as shown in the pictures below.<\/p>\n
