Red and Blue Effect with Photoshop<\/h2>\n

This Red and Blue effect is inspired by a Hindu movie called Raaz Reboot, in this tutorial we will reproduce the effect mentioned using simple Photoshop techniques.<\/p>\n

and here is a preview of the final rendering<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Smoke Brushes <\/p>\n

Photoshop version used <\/strong> : Adobe Photoshop CC 2017 <\/strong> but compatible with all versions of Photoshop.
Intermediate level <\/strong>
Time required: 20mn <\/strong><\/p>\n

To start the job, open a new document from 780 \u00d7 780 pixels <\/strong>, resolution 72dpi <\/strong> Colors RGB8bits <\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Then, import the following image into your document or choose another Model.<\/p>\n

Then add a Selective Correction adjustment layer by going to Menu> Layer> New Adjustment Layer> Selective Correction. <\/strong><\/p>\n

Now duplicate or re-import the model image twice and adjust them to eye levels like this<\/p>\n

\"Red<\/p>\n

Then erase the outlines, change their opacities <\/strong> in lighten <\/strong> and reduce opacity <\/strong> To 50% <\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Now add a new gray layer 50%<\/strong> going in Menu> Layer> New> Layer<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Take the density tool –<\/strong> with an exhibition of 20%<\/strong> and lighten the model as shown in the picture below.<\/p>\n

Then import the following texture into your working document.<\/p>\n

Now with the eraser tool (E) <\/strong> or a layer mask erase the part that covers the face.<\/p>\n

Then change its fusion mode <\/strong> in lighten <\/strong> and reduce its opacity <\/strong> To 42% <\/strong>.<\/p>\n

After, go to Menu> Image> Adjustments> Hue and saturation <\/strong> and reduce the saturation <\/strong> To -47 <\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Then add a new layer ( Ctrl + Shift + N <\/strong>), take the gradient tool (G) <\/strong> and draw a small linear black to transparent gradient.<\/p>\n

Now add a fill layer solid color <\/strong>Blue # 0096ff going in Menu> Layer> New Fill Layer> Solid Color <\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Next, Mask off part of the fill layer by painting with Black<\/strong> on the latter’s layer mask.<\/p>\n

Then change its fusion mode <\/strong> in substraction <\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Add another fill layer solid color <\/strong> with the same color # 0096ff.<\/p>\n

Next, Mask the major part of the fill layer by painting with black on the layer mask of the latter in order to obtain the following result.<\/p>\n

Then change its fusion mode <\/strong> in Inlay <\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Now create a new layer, and draw some smoke using the following Brushes (To install the Brushes follow this tutorial) and the color # d67a1a.<\/p>\n

Then change its fusion mode <\/strong> in Colour density – <\/strong> and reduce its opacity to 28%<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Create another layer and do the same on the other side using the color Blue # 2692e5.<\/p>\n

After, change its fusion mode <\/strong> in Inlay <\/strong> and reduce its opacity <\/strong> To 70% <\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Finally, add Levels adjustment layer by going to Menu> Layer> New adjustment layer> Levels. <\/strong><\/p>\n
